Holiday Cookie Exchange

To celebrate the festive season and strengthen our growing community, SMBC Lëtzebuerg asbl hosted its very first Christmas Cookie Exchange at the beginning of December. The small but cozy gathering took place in one member’s home, offering a moment of warmth, laughter, and good cheer during the busy December season.

Although only few members were able to attend—many juggling full holiday schedules, sick children, and family commitments, the spirit of connection and support that defines the SMBC community was very much present.

The goal of the exchange went beyond sweet treats, as participants took time to share ideas and priorities for SMBC Lëtzebuerg’s 2026 plan of action, which will be finalised and voted on during the upcoming General Assembly in January.

The Christmas-themed gathering marked an encouraging step in building a local network where single mothers by choice can connect, support one another, and create traditions together.
